Why Product Verification Matters

What a verification code proves, what it can't, and why authenticity and identity are different questions — the entry-level guide to checking a REPRIME package.
Every REPRIME package insert carries a one-time verification code. Scanning it is the fastest check that the package in your hands is the genuine article — and it is a different check from anything a lab test can provide. This page is the entry-level explainer: what verification means, what a code scan proves, and what it deliberately does not. What product verification means
Verification answers one question: is this specific package the one REPRIME assembled and shipped? Each package insert is printed with a unique code in the format REP-XXXX-XXXX-X, linked in our database to the exact product, vial size, and batch. The first scan at /verify stamps the code as verified. If a code shows "authentic — first verify", you have a genuine REPRIME product. If it shows "already verified" and you didn't scan it yourself, the packaging may have been re-used — stop and contact us immediately.
Authenticity vs identity: two different questions
It is worth being precise about what is being proven, because the two concepts are often blurred:
- Authenticity — is this package genuine? That is what the verification code establishes.
- Identity and purity — is the molecule in the vial the labeled peptide, and how pure is it? That is what laboratory testing establishes, documented on the batch Certificate of Analysis.
The code proves the package; the COA proves the molecule. Neither replaces the other, which is why every REPRIME product carries both.
What a code scan proves
A successful scan at /verify confirms the code was issued by REPRIME, shows whether it has been scanned before — and exactly when — and links it to its batch: which product, which vial size, and the batch number that connects to the published COA and expiry date.
What a code scan cannot prove
- The contents of the vial. Chemistry is proven by testing, not by a code — see the COA and purity documentation.
- How the package was handled. A genuine vial stored badly is still a degraded vial; the cold-chain packaging and your own storage discipline cover that (Peptide Storage Guidelines).
- Tampering on its own. The code works together with the tamper-evident pouch; a re-sealed package is exactly the scenario the repeat-scan warning exists to catch.
How to verify a REPRIME package
- Find the code on the package insert (format REP-XXXX-XXXX-X).
- Enter it at /verify — no account needed.
- "Authentic — first verify" means you are done.
- "Already verified" when you did not scan it yourself is the counterfeit warning: contact us on WhatsApp before using the product.

Frequently asked questions
What does it mean if my code says "already verified"?
If you scanned it earlier yourself, nothing — the message is informational and shows the first-scan time. If you did not, treat it as a counterfeit warning: the code may have been copied from a genuine package. Contact REPRIME before using the product.
Does a valid code guarantee what is inside the vial?
No. The code proves the package is genuine and links it to its batch. What is inside the vial is established by the batch's laboratory testing — identity by mass spectrometry and purity by HPLC — published on the Certificate of Analysis.
Do I need an account to verify a product?
No. Verification at /verify is public and takes a few seconds. The first scan permanently stamps the code as verified, which is what makes a copied code detectable.
