BPC-157 + TB-500: Tissue Repair Research Tools
Two of the most-cited peptides in tissue-repair research, paired in a single blended vial. What each brings independently and why labs commonly study them together.
BPC-157 and TB-500 are two of the most-cited peptides in tissue-repair research. REPRIME's blended vial pairs them at a fixed, COA-documented ratio for protocols that examine the combined effect.
BPC-157: a pentadecapeptide from gastric juice
BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid synthetic peptide derived from a stable sequence found in human gastric juice. It has been studied in tissue-repair and gut-research contexts for over two decades. The peptide is relatively short and chemically stable, making it convenient to synthesize and ship.
TB-500: a thymosin-beta-4 fragment
TB-500 is a synthetic version of the active region of thymosin-β4, a naturally occurring protein involved in actin binding and cellular mobility. Researchers use TB-500 as a probe for studies that need a thymosin-like activity without working with the full 43-residue parent protein.
Why pair them
Researchers studying tissue-repair pathways often examine the combined effect of both peptides rather than each alone. The two peptides operate through distinct mechanisms — BPC-157's activity is not fully characterized but appears to involve growth-factor signaling, while TB-500 is more clearly tied to cytoskeletal remodeling. The combined effect is what protocols often measure.
A blended vial eliminates the measurement error inherent in weighing two small masses separately and combining them. The ratio is exact, verified at compounding, and documented on the COA.
The 20 mg vial
Total peptide mass is 20 mg across both components. The exact mass ratio appears on the [Certificate of Analysis](/certificates) for each batch. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry for both peptides independently; main-peak purity by HPLC.
A note on quality
Because BPC-157 and TB-500 are widely sold under non-research labels in jurisdictions where regulation is loose, supply-chain quality varies enormously. REPRIME's blend is verified: both peptides present at the expected ratio, identity confirmed against theoretical mass, purity quantified against related substances. If you wouldn't trust the COA, don't use the product.
